Well howdy everyone! It sure has been a while since we last talked. Geez i think it might've been almost a year! But not to worry, we didn't die or dissapeard. We were still working on the game silently, slowly but very efficently :o)
Now then shall we talk about how the game has been going lately?
PROGRESS IN GENERAL
It's been a year since UTO has started and there has been lots of changes and work by the team. We got lots of stuff done lately just like the spriting and music section of the DEMO! We have just some tiles and some extra sprites to finish or remake but after that those we're pretty much set.
Writing has been kinda bland lately, but mostly cause Zeno (me) have been really REALLY busy with other projects and also irl stuff.
Coding too to say for the least but I'll go in the dephts of this in a different section.
APPROACHING THE DEMO
As we're approaching the demo (very slowly) we're already planning the future sections for the game, planning the future endings like Pacifist and Genocide and various mechanics that's gonna happen.
When the demo will be done we're already planning on hiring a bigger dev team to speedup the process of the game.
Thinking about it's crazy how this game is being done only around 15 people only, geez!
PROGRAMMING THE GAME
Like I said, coding hasn't been the best lately.
Our 2 coders are really busy in this period cause of school exams and other stuff. We really wish the game wouldn't take that long but that's how stuff goes!
On another note our coders did try to work lately on some sections of the game! We have finished the caves rooms and also we're working on some cutscenes of the game.
Maybe UTO will take way more than expected but it'll be worth it. I promise!
