Finally its come to the time when I can announce Universum for android, after the kickstarter in May was unsuccessful I got struck back on development but I promised myself that I would still press on and try and get this game on android.
So today is the landmark day of…ehhh, Official Announcement meaning there is no going back, I have to release the game or I’ll eat my own hat (strange way of putting it).
There is not yet a release date but it will hopefully be mid November - early December.
Anyway enough chit chat, the game itself it very different from the PC version, it’s a total re-write and with a crap ton of new and improved systems.
You will use the Tilt motion on your device in order to move the ship, you will tap the screen to shoot (there is space for your thumb so you don’t block the action, see the screenshot on forum), enemies think more logically, loots/upgrades are mostly different, options are more suited to phones and many more changes.
Its still heavy in dev but mostly cosmetics now, so I hope to see it on the market as soon as possible.
(Note: Those that ordered the game through Kickstarter will still receive the packages that they ordered, for free)
