Universum v1.4.2 Released!


This is another small update for the month of may, I am currently focusing on getting a few little details out of the way before the next big update in June.
Soon I should also be converting from my current version of the engine to Gamemaker Studio so things may be a bit slow from now till about a months time.

But I will still stay up-to-date and I’ll be listing all the planned features closer to the time of release.

Changes for this version:

  • Added instadeath if you go above the screen

  • Added a 5s countdown when you go below screen (0 Resulting in death)

  • Removed top/bottom warping

  • Added new death messages for changes

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
