Upcoming Features


Hi Jolters,

Just a little preview for next GDS-GameJolt Ed update (should come in 1-2 weeks).

Right now I’m out of town so the updates are a little behind schedule to what I’d want them to be, but here’s the next release’s upcoming stuff:

  • Survival Mode (Combo Meter becomes a countdown timer - keep racing for cones or explode when the meters runs out!). This makes a new third Leaderboard for GDS

  • Leaderboards opened for guest accounts.

  • For GJ accounts, accumulated points will be saved to GJ servers, so logging in from different computers/browsers will keep your points.

  • Notice on the Game Over screen if you have enough points to unlock an upgrade.

  • Bug fixes and level/cam tuning.

  • Thinking about how to implement a practice mode for the next-Next release, so each of the semi-randomized level segments can be mastered.
