Update 0.05 is finally out!
I didn't release this update for a long time because I wanted to make it better, I wanted to make level editor else but I decided to release it now and leave this for the next update.



WHAT'S NEW?

  • Added skill system:

    Leveling up now gives out skill points

    You can spend them to develop your character's skills

  • Added dialog system:

    The dialogs themselves are a prototype and have little to do with the final story

  • Improved enemy AI:

    Less likely to get stuck while following the player

    Enemy now stops at a certain distance from the player

    Enemies can wait for the player to emerge to strike

  • Improved performance of enemy AI scripts

  • Added a function to speed up level recap

  • Lot's of optimisations

  • Added drill rotation animation

  • Added doctor, he will be responsible for pumping the skills of the character and the sale of upgrades

    At the same time the merchant will be responsible for selling weapons and giving quests

  • Enemies now change weapon angles smoothly

  • Fixing various bugs

  • General statistics updated

    Now all the shots, kills,restarts etc. will be counted regardless of whether you complete the level or not

  • The summary window has been updated

    Added Mobility - The less you stand still, the more points you get

    Added Flexebility - The more weapons you use to kill enemies the more points you get

    Added Injectionless Completion - Don't use injection and you get extra points

  • The summary window has been visually updated

  • Updated the visuals for getting points during the game

  • Added new actions for which you can get extra points: "One Shot", "Knock Out", "Unseen", "Sharp Shooter", "Die Hard", "Close Encounter", "Bye, Turret"

  • Added Turrets

    They are bulletproof, only an explosion will destroy them

    They shoot very fast, causing very little damage

  • During the tutorial, you will now be prompted to select a difficulty with an explanation of what it affects

  • Updated the visuals of level select screen

  • Updated the visuals of settings screen to make it look better

  • Added tilt effect to backgrounds and game title

  • Updated game icon

  • Added minor animations when using the first aid kit/ammo box

  • Added automatic weapon spread

  • Updated UI Blood splatter effect

  • Changes in the balance

  • Adrenaline is now a full-fledged part of the game on any difficulty (except the safe one)

    Kill to replenish your adrenaline levels!

  • New background effect (black stripes)

  • And other changes

The next update should surprise you, don't expect a big update soon, everything should be thoroughly tested
