Update 0.3 Patch Notes (BIG)


Update 0.3 Notes:

-ADDED NEW MAP CAVES

-ADDED MAIN MENU:

UI Overhaul:

- Added cinematic style black bars.

- Removed all ability's.

- Changed health to a bar. Only displays when health is below max.

- Tweaked countdown timer colour.

- Redesigned inventory display.

- Added reforge bonus text to all weapons in the inventory display.

- Changed default text font in all menus.

- Improved readability of text in inventory screen.

- Reduced time for damage numbers to fade away from 0.4s to 0.3s.

- Changed damage numbers font, colour and letter spacing to be more readable.

- Reduced damage numbers font size significantly.

- Weapon ammo counter is now built directly onto guns. Updates in real time. And weapons have their own unique ammo counter colour.

Loot System:

- Fixed weapon drops sometimes blocking zombies movement.

- Significantly improved performance.

- Weapons should now correctly have the same drop chance and drop less frequently in turn.

- Replaced pickup sound to 4 new different voice lines that get chosen randomly on pickup.

Zombie changes (AI + OTHERS):

- Remade Zombie AI

- Zombies used to attack, when the player got withing a certain radius. No matter how far away the player was at the end of the attack animation they would still take damage.

Now zombies attack when the player collides with their hand in any way. If that hand touches the player, it deals damage.

- Due to the above change, the chance of a zombies damaging the player as they run past is significantly reduced !

- Zombies no longer stop attacking after their first attack, if the player was still close to them.

- Added new VFX to zombie spawn points, removed black smoke VFX.

- Added 2 more zombie spawn points around map "Palace".

- Reduced time added on kill from 2s to 1s.

- Replaced zombie health bar, heart design. Drains when damaged.

- Reduced Zombie speed from 550 to 525.

- Fixed an issue where zombies would sometimes stop spawning entirely.

- Fixed weapon drops sometimes blocking zombies movement.

- Increased zombie attack damage from 15% health to 30% health.

- Added a fix to reduce the number of times zombies get blocked by each other.

- Increased spawn delay from 0.25 to 0.35 to help with zombies spawning to fast and getting stuck together.

Player Changes:

- Redone character movement to feel a bit more realistic.

- Lowered max jump height by 25%.

- Player can now double jump.

- Increased player health regeneration speed by 33%.

- Added more voice line triggers on certain actions.

- Added player head bob when moving.

- Changed player spawn position on map Palace.

Weapon Changes:

Inferno:

- Reduced fire tornado duration from 18s to 5s.

- Fire tornados now return 1 ammo to infernos tank per kill.

- Reduced infernos tank size from 50 to 25.

- Fixed inferno damage not correctly being applied.

- Reduced inferno reserves from 100 to 50.

- Reduced time added on kill from 2s to 1s.

- Increased spawn rate of fire tornados.

- Added light component to fire tornado.

Perfect Storm:

- Reduced time added on kill from 2s to 1s.

- Increased recoil slightly.

Grim Reaper:

- Changed rate of fire from 0.6 to 0.45 (25% Faster).

- Perk "Judgement" now gives the player health as well as returning the bullet on headshot kills.

- Slightly reduced overall recoil.

- Increased ammo reserves from 18 to 30.

Peace And Harmony:

- Increased mag size from 20 to 30.

- Perk "Unity" now gives back 15 ammo to reserves if reloading when empty.

- No longer fires a extra projectile.

- Reduced explosive rounds VFX size.

- Reduced ammo reserves from 200 to 150.

- Changed rate of fire from 0.15 to 0.1. (33% Faster)

Hydra:

- Changed second perk to a new one called "Unstoppable".

- Unstoppable: Kills increase mag size. (1 extra round per kill, stacks up to 250x)

- Changed rate of fire to 0.04. (Around 85% faster)

- Changed mag size to 10. (Can increase up to 250 via "Unstoppable")

- Changed ammo reserves to 250.

- Reduced vertical recoil.

- Now fires in full auto instead of bursts.

- Reduced weapon fire sound.

- Changed damage to 12.5.

- Increased headshot multiplier from 1.4x to 1.6x. (20 DMG PER HS)

- Changed muzzle effect on fire.

DB2 (Now DB4):

- Increased mag size from 2 to 4.

- Increased shrapnel spread radious by 15%.

- Reduced reserves from 64 to 36.

Celeste:

- Reduced ammo reserves from 36 to 8.

- Reduced mag size from 9 to 1.

- Removed burst on fire.

- Removed ammo on kill.

- Changed rate of fire from 1.2 to 1.1.

- Increased star multiplication amount in orbit by 33%.

- Added light component to Celeste's projectile stars.

- Increases stars spread by 25%.

Big Daddy (Now Slayer)

- Changed both perk names and changed perk 1.

- Perk 1: "Stopping Power" Fires extra damage rounds.

- Perk 2: "Kill Feed" Kills automatically feed ammo from reserves into the mag.

- Increased damage to 30.

- Changed rate of fire to 0.1.

- Slightly reduced recoil.

Last Man Standing:

- Removed from the game for now.

The Law

- Reduced ammo reserves from 160 to 88.

- Reduced hip fire accuracy.

- Fixed a bug where "Bounty Hunter" was giving the bonus money and normal $25 on top.

- Replaced "YeeHaw" with "Luck Of The Draw" which randomly overflows the mag when reloading from empty.

- Changed weapon look. From shiny metal to a old wooden style.

- Changed rate of fire from 0.8 to 0.55.

Glitch:

- Added back "Multiverse" ability to the weapon, now on empty mag reload.

- Glitch still keeps the buffs it got last update. (6 In one shot etc...)

Multiverse AI Changes:

- Completely remade ai.

- Ai now actually moves fast enough to keep up with the player.

- Ai fire rate no longer tied to movement update time.

- Ai fire rate drastically increased thanks to the above changes.

- Reduced ai copy duration from 30s to 10s.

- Reduced ammo regeneration rate while active from 3 to 2 over 10s.

REFORGE MACHINE ADDED !

- The reforge machine costs $3500 and increases weapon damage as well as granting a specific bonus to the mythical weapon depending on what weapon it is !

- The reforge bonus granted for a weapon is shown on its perks list.

- Reforge bonuses are as follows:

Perfect Storm

- Lightning lingers briefly, chaining to even more enemies !

Wazer Wifle:

- Increased mag size (+30) and faster fire rate.

The Law:

- Bounty's give a extra $5 bonus.

Grim Reaper:

- Doubles max reserve ammo. Shots have a chance not to consume ammo.

Inferno:

- Fire tornadoes last twice as long and give $5 per kill.

Glitch:

- When reforged Glitch is equipped, using "Multiverse" spawns another copy of you !

DB4:

- Increases mag size to 5, Reserves to 60 and enables full auto !

Hydra:

- Increases reserves to 350 and max clip size cap to 350.

Slayer:

- Increased mag size to 225 and kills have a chance to grant reserve ammo.

Peace & Harmony:

- Explosive damage is doubled, mag increased to 40 and unity now gives back 20 !

Last Man Standing:

- Reforge Bonus: Weapon no longer has recoil.

Celeste:

- Increased mag size to 3 and reserves to 15.

Other Changes:

Remade various key systems in the game to be much more optimised and efficient.

Tweaked global lighting on map 1 to be more realistic.

Removed soundtrack.

Reduced starting time on countdown clock from 1m 30s to 40s.

Added music easter eggs to both maps. (Laptops)

Added loading screens.

Re added Ammo Boxes which use the updated "Ammo Ability" code.
