You’ve all been waiting for it, and it’s finally here:

The main game for Kirby’s Dream Land Advance is now complete!
Tomorrow marks Kirby’s 26th anniversary, but I was able to finish up this game to still make it in time for his 25th anniversary.
Highlights:

Added the ending to the game!
Added the Kirby’s 25th anniversary logo to the start!
Added customizable controls
Screen should now be pixel perfect; no pixels are rotated
Changed Boss theme to Alex Contreras’ SNES cover of the original game’s boss theme
Fixed a bug where touching a Gordo would make Kirby invincible if he had less than 3 HP

-Assigned a flag to the candy in Castle Lololo so it respawns properly

-Changed Kirby’s hurt flash so that it uses nifty shaders!
-Changed particle creation when air bullets and fireballs are destroyed
-Changed Poppy Bro Sr.’s hop attack so that it’s easier to avoid and more accurate to the original game
-Changed the collision mask of inhaled enemies so they get inhaled properly
-Did a thing with a white background behind the title at the start
-Doors are now invisible when behind star blocks, but border is over surrounding blocks when visible
-Ensured that abilities from items (curry, etc.) are disabled upon death or game restart
-Fixed a bug where Kirby could bounce off the floor into the bottom corner of a block and get stuck
-Fixed a bug where touching a Gordo would make Kirby invincible if he had less than 3 HP
-Fixed a bug where sliding wouldn’t destroy star blocks
-Gave most items gravity
-Health will now only beep when the GUI is visible
-Kirby will also stop sliding when falling off a block
-Kirby no longer slows down when spitting curry fireballs
-Kirby can now rapidly shoot fireballs or mint leaf air bullets when simply holding the X Button
-Kirby now stops inhaling when touching Spicy Curry or a Mint Leaf
-Lololo & Lalala now block air bullets
-Modified code for Kirby’s horizontal movement and dashing, let me know if something breaks :)
-Randomized the color of “?” Blocks in Castle Lololo
-Reduced Twoface’s speed (mask enemy)
-Reduced the inhale lag when quickly tapping the X button
-Reduced size of Glunk bullets’ destroy effects
-Screenshot numbers no longer reset when starting the game up again
-Screen should is now pixel perfect; no pixels are rotated at larger scales.
-Shotzo can now be killed using a microphone
-Slightly increased hitbox for doors to make them easier to enter
-Slowed down Kirby’s spitting animation slightly
-Spicy curry spiciness is now taken away upon entering water
-Spicy curry and candy are now taken away upon touching a warp star
-Touching a microphone or bomb item will now put said item in Kirby’s mouth
-Trying some things with optimization involving texture pages and sleep margin, let me know if anything goes wrong
