First of all, wow! Thank you all so much for the incredible support on Dead Lab. Yes, it’s a short game but that seems to be the biggest complaint which is a huge compliment. I’m gald my short demo is so much fun. I felt inspired these past few days to go back and polish the game so I am doing just that. I upgraded the game to Unity 5 so it looks and sounds MUCH better. I’m having fun with the reverb zones. New shaders are going in soon but that’s not the best part.
That cliff hanger ending is being moved. I’ve decided to add an entire new section to the game to flesh out the story more. While I still intend to keep a cliff hanger ending, there will be much more content in the game than before. That also means the game will save your progress. The game will be much larger which means the webplayer version will not be updated with Unity 5’s update. It’s just simply too much work to optimize all the new gameplay. I intend to add some special surprises in the new update that I think you are all going to enjoy.
There are more jump scares, puzzles, NEW music and story coming soon and I can’t wait for you all to give your feedback. Dead Lab lives!
