Update #2

Hi everyone! Just letting you know that I’ve begun working on an update to Roguelight. It’ll probably be finished in a few weeks but don’t expect anything massive.

Here’s the plan:

BUG FIXES:

Fix a bug which allows you to see everything.
If you’ve encountered any bugs or issues while playing, please let me know in the comments and I’ll add them to the list!

GAMEPLAY:

Add more level layouts.
Add a pause screen.
Add more control options.
Add a letterbox fullscreen option.
Expand on the ending.
Integrate the upgrade screen better.

In the meantime, please check out some of the other games I’ve been working on if you want to see what I’ve been up to! Here are the three most recent:

birdsong (gamejolt, itch, free) - a metroidvania where the entire game is all on one screen.

Sandstorm (itch, $3) - an exploration game about finding your camel in an endless desert without getting lost.

Super Super Super Super (itch, free) - a two to four player co-operative game where each player controls a super hero.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
