General
Timeline selector menu. If you start the game on a fresh install, you won't see the menu. Once you make a save file (by naming Chara and seeing the first outlands room) you will unlock the menu.
You can create as many timelines as you want.
You cannot name Chara or RESET in these timelines, as you spawn directly into the overworld with a "?" name -- only the main canon save file has these abilities.
Yes, you can save your progress in them.
All timelines are stored inside of the same file as the canon timeline file -
universe.json
- meaning that if you export and import your save using the debug panel or the web version, it will carry all the timelines you made with it as well.
LV 0 route dialogue re-write. Chara, would you please stop saying how sad you are every 2 seconds. Yeah, it's been made to be more selective with when it lets out dialogue like that, and I have really gone through every single line to make things less wordy and more impactful when it really matters.
Bug fixes, of course!
You can no longer backtrack in an area and get encounters after the Area's boss. It was an oversight and led to some pretty funny stuff like Alphys being totally unreactive to you killing ppl.
Alphys DOES now react if you kill people in Aerialis after previously having been pacifist, though.
Outlands
Tile color variation is added, and I think it's safe to say this area is looking a lot more lived in.
Fixed some more pillow-shaded sprites.
Starton
A new type of section has been added to some of Starton's rooms, to vary up the look of the place. Room layout has been streamlined to eliminate many of those rooms who only had one small thing in them.
The so-called Number Neutralizer puzzle (the addition and subtraction one) has been taken off of the main route. It's now a side path, and there's no cheap way to solve the puzzle now. I wonder what's on the other side.
2nd Sans and Papyrus cutscene dialogue has been touched up to further differentiate from UT.
Fixed even more pillow-shading, and Kabakk (fake police station who shouts a lot) who was meant to be a squash now, actually is colored like one.
Foundry
Mad dummy's bullets now deal the proper amount of damage to the player.
Undyne will now mention killings of other monsters instead of just Papyrus (if you killed Papyrus).
Napstablook properly introduces themselves on genocidal neutral route before heading back home.
Aerialis
They say weird stuff can happen if you go too far out on those repeating rooms...
The "hapstablook" cutscenes involving MTT and the other blook family members have been totally re-written. Not only are the cutscenes shorter, but the story is much stronger. Also, MTT doesn't do the "non-lethal" thing any more, so watch out for that.
MTT now reacts properly to having higher ratings at the end of the show.
Another person notices the cup you're holding now. I won't say who, but... yes.
