I have a semi-functional game at the moment, and once I have gumball's AI figured out, I might soon have a demo-worthy experience.
The problem I'm having right now is the viewports. If you are not familar with Game Maker, the game engine I'm using to make ONaG, they function as the player's camera that follows the player character around, or in this case the mouse cursor. What I'm trying to do is lock two viewports to their respective backgrounds and prevent them from overlapping while also allowing you to look back and forth inside each background.
Due to how overly specific this issue is, finding a solution on the web is difficult, and I have had to ask ChatGPT for advice.
Now, just to be clear, I am NOT using ChatGPT to program the game! I'm telling it about an insolvable issue and learning how to solve it so that it doesn't occur in the future. If there are any people out there who know how to help me, I'd be very glad. I'll see ya'll later after the issue is hopefully fixed.

As promised, here is some fun behind the scenes info and scrapped content from the game's development :) #tawog #fnaffangame #devlog #gamedev #behindthescenes #onenightatgumballs
I'm currently reworking the cameras. I've been dreading to program again, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. #onag #onenightatgumballs #fnaffangame
Damn, not a lot of posts in general, huh? Anyhow... #onenightatgumballs #teaser #fnaf #tawog #fnaffangame
Here's the new rooms for the cameras + Gumball's active AI in ONaG. I just downloaded CapCut to edit this video, by the way. #OneNightatGumballs
Alright folks, here it is...
Uhm guys... is something wrong with this image?
I got myself a Pinterest account. Go check it out if you want!
Side quest: removing weeds from the garden.
It’s surprisingly fun and nice to be outside in the sun and work when you’re not in front of your computer all day.
