Hey, guys!
It’s defenitely been a while, and I would like to inform you that I’m indeed still here! I’m bringing some news to keep you guys up with what’s going on at the moment.
Fredbear and Friends: Reboot
Unfortunately, I don’t think Arcade is going to be finished, and that’s for a number of reasons. I’m extremely unsatisfied with how the game came out in general, and I don’t want to work on something I’m not happy with. Perhaps I might release the barebones version of it at one point, which doesn’t include the cutscenes.
However, fully remaking the game (again) is something that I have considered in the past, although it’s nowhere on my priority list at the moment. I have improved heavily ever since, meaning that another remake would be infinitely better than the current.
Fredbear and Friends: A Twisted Awakening
I’m not as determined to make this game as much as I used to be, but cancelling games is something completely out of question for me now. That being said, I’m currently unable to work on the game due to a lack of animators, lack of voice actors and extremely slow progress on the animatronic models. Once these issues are solved, I’ll be back to working on the game full-time once again.
Other projects?
Of course, as a game developer it’s hard for me not to work on anything at all. Since I’m currently unable to work on my main project, I decided that instead of waiting for the issues to be solved, I might aswell work on something else in the meantime.
This brings me to my current project that I’ve been working on for some time now, The Fredbear Archives. You might have seen the teaser trailer that I revealed about a month ago, although I haven’t given any proper information as to what this project is. I won’t say too much, but here’s a quick description.
The Fredbear Archives is an upcoming fangame canon to the Fredbear and Friends storyline. It takes place in a small, eerie warehouse that has recently received new shipment. Your job is to make sure that it remains safe and untouched. However, curiosity gets the better of you, and you make a disturbing tragic discovery. Now, your main objective is to find a way out alive.
That’s about all I had to say. I might have made the teaser trailer a bit too soon, as the game already looks almost completely different from the teaser.
Eitherway, I don’t want to leave you guys off with nothing, so for sticking to the end of the devlog, here’s some very early work in progress screenshots of TFA (The Fredbear Archives) with the new & improved visuals.
