Hey everyone~! It’s been some time since the last FAQ, so I’ve decided to do a new one which is more up to date, here we go~!
Q: When will the game be released?
A: As of now, we don’t have a set release date for the game, we’re all hard working so it will be finished as soon as possible, but these things take time. However, now that Montie has finished a major part of the game, making the rest of it should be going now a lot faster than before!
Q: When is the demo coming out?
A: I can confirm with absolute certainty, that the demo will be done before the end of the next month.
Q: Can you port the game to Android~?
A: The game’s requirements are pretty big, and require a good PC for it to be able to run. Most Android phones don’t have very good specs, so unless we would remake the entire game in ClickTeam Fusion (Which we won’t, we don’t have time to do that, nor someone who would do that for us), the game would probably run at less than 5 FPS in most phones, or launch at all. So in other words, we’re not gonna port any of the games to Android or iOS
Q: Since the Reaper Animatronics appear again in FN4, are they real?
A: No, they’re not real. They’re ghosts, and they can appear only visible to the ones they choose. They’re neither hallucinations nor “real”.
Q: The game is a .rar file? How am I supposed to launch it?
A: A .rar file is a compressed archive of the entire game, in order to open it, you need to download WinRar from here, install it, and right click the .rar file and select “Extract to final-nights-4-demo-1.02”.
Afterwards, open the folder, and the game .exe should be in there!
Q: Will there be a Custom Night?
A: Currently, there’s no plans to add a Custom Night to the game, however, after the game gets released, we might do a update for the game with a Custom Night with select presets, BUT, I can’t guarantee anything. If you want such an update, vote in the poll in this Gamejolt Devlog
Q: Will you add my animatronic to the game?
A: Sorry, but we cannot add fanmade animatronics to the game, due to two reasons:
If we would add each animatronic a fan submits, the game would never be finished.
Adding fanmade animatronics would conflict with the lore.
So sorry, but we won’t be taking requests for fanmade animatronics
Q: I joined the Discord, but I can only access the #welcome channel?
A: To prevent people coming in and spamming the chat, we’ve made a system so that you’ll need to read the rules first, and tell us the password which you’ll probably know from reading the rules, after you tell us the password, you’ll be granted access to the rest of the channels.
Q: I would like to help! What can I do?
A: As of now, we don’t need any additional help, BUT please help us by sharing Final Nights 4 to your friends, it will help us a ton, as we want everyone to try out our game!
However, when we will need help, we will make a Gamejolt or Reddit post asking for help, so if that happens, you know where to look.
Q: Will [X] Appear in the game?
A: We won’t answer questions regarding who will make their final appearance in the game, unless they’ve been already teased. Telling everyone all characters will just ruin the fun of finding them yourself during gameplay.
