Updates on where I'm at and potential updated version of Five Nights at Worst Chicken.

Hey everyone, I don't know who's all still following me, but I've decided to make an update.

I'm sorry I've been pretty much inactive for years, and I never finished the game "Strider's Diner". At this point, I won't be finishing that game, because it's too irrelevant to me now and I've changed a lot regarding the characters I was using as the animatronics... I want to focus more on the first game I made, Five Nights at Worst Chicken, and then see where I go from there. I've been thinking for a while now of releasing an updated version of the game. I wanted to fix some buggy aspects of it, give it some QOL improvements and update some parts of the "lore" and some of the animatronics that were used in the game. But as I started to do this I decided it would be easier for me to just remake the game from the bottom up more or less, because there was a LOT of reworking needed to fix some problems with the game.

Admittedly, I tend to be sporadic when working on stuff and I don't always end up finishing what I start. I had been avoiding posting for some time out of fear I would do this again. I've been VERY busy in real life and have gone through a lot of life changes over the years. But I've recently decided to start looking into programming again after animation didn't work out for me. I have ideas in my head for future games unrelated to FNaF, but remastering FNaWC is something I've wanted to do for a long time, so I'm thinking I will start out with it. I'm also not going to be working much right now since my job is seasonal so I should have plenty of time in the next couple months to work on it. Which means I am also probably going to be remaking all the animatronic models. (I did have newer ones I made some years ago but I am not entirely happy with them and I want to try to make better ones that also hold more of a similar look to the original game... but just better quality).

I've attached some images of some things related to the updated version of the game, including a map mock up with my ideas of how the animatronics are going to work. (You might notice from the names that some animatronics have been replaced with different characters). I've also already made some slight changes to the minigames (they may be updated/refined further on though).

If everything goes well, I should start working on this more in January :) I will try my best to keep frequent updates on the game!

Currently working on the new animatronic models, and will start making the renders for the rooms as well so the cameras can be implemented.

So far, Rex's model is complete!

Remake of a teaser from the original game.

I now have the main three stage animatronics completed, and the header for the game page has been updated!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
