v0.1.0 is out for my Plants vs Zombies DS game, bringing it finally into its Beta stage!

Also, should I keep using DS music, or replace it with the HQ original PvZ music?

[31/10/22] - v0.1.0 Beta

  • ADDED ZOMBIE: Conehead

  • Added level: 1-1

    • Most is set up for easy adding of future levels

    • Added reward to end of levels

  • Clicking on MORE now enters an endless sandbox mode

  • Zombie previews are now true to their corresponding levels

  • Added Huge Waves and FINAL WAVES

  • Updated Flag Zombie

    • Walk speed buff

    • Now only appears in Huge Waves (excluding 1-1)

  • Nerfed Peashooter pea projectile speed (to match original game)

  • Zombies spread out across all lanes each wave

  • Replaced some sound effects with ones from the PC version; planning to replace most/all soon

  • Sun now floats to the cursor in controller mode, similar to the PvZ console editions

  • Added 4 new Game Jolt trophies: 

    • SPUDOW!

    • THE ZOMBIES ATE YOUR BRAINS!

    • Smooth Criminal

    • Early Bloomer

Little sneak peek:

Genuine hitboxes have been added to plants & zombies, and the Shovel has been added.

Currently working on a few bug fixes, so update should be out within the next week hopefully (along with the Wall-nut plant)

Someone asked if I would be adding fan-made plants to the game, and although I have no plans to at the moment, I may add some much later in the game's developement for fun.

I've attatched some examples from fan-drawn PvZ2 DS sprites that I might use.
