Super excited to finally put this out. Hope it didn't take too long... *crickets* ANYWAY HERE'S WHAT'S ADDED IN THE UPDATE-
SOUL MODES
That's right! No longer are you stuck as the poor poor BALL GAME soul. For those who don't know or need a refresher, here's all the soul colors added as well as what they do:
Blue - You are now affected by the laws of GRAVITY. Holding UP causes your soul to jump. You can also let go of UP for a smaller jump.
Yellow - OMG CLOVER UNDERTALE YELLOW!! Pressing Z will fire a bullet in the direction your soul is looking which will pulverize any enemy it comes into contact with or slow the pumpkin down. Holding X will lock your soul's aim to the last direction.
Purple - Spookies united. When moving vertically, your soul will jump from string to string, giving you a bit less freedom of movement.
Orange - DRIVING IN MY CAAARRR- The movement is the same as default but you can NEVER stop moving (except for then you hit a wall, but that also works on cars)
TURRET ENEMIES
This new kind of enemy is sure to spice up any level it's in. It stands in place and SHOOTS. BULLETS. ... ... What, you think that's it? THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF TURRETS AS WELL:
Rotating Clockwise
Rotating Counter Clockwise
Aiming
Homing (the bullets follow the soul themselves)
ERAM (John Mantle's signature final attack)
ERAM Reversed
SETTINGS MENU
Any self respecting game should have a settings menu. That says a lot about this game doesn't it? ... Here are the settings added:
Speedrun mode - The pumpkin gets the Scaredy-cat variants of voice lines
Jack-o-lantern text - Whether or not to display the pumpkin's text
Darkness mode - Controls how the lights function (Realistic - you can only see things that are under the light, Off - you can only see the soul and the pumpkin, On - you can see everything)
Auto-reset - Automatically resets when losing (holding space while in a level also acts as an auto-reset)
Baby mode - You now start each level with three lives (although the pumpkin ignores the lives system)
