v1.2.0 UPDATE

  • Due to popular demand, it is now possible to distract Damien even after he has already started chasing you. HOWEVER, in order for the distraction to be effective, there must already be some distance between you and him. He cannot already be close enough to sense that you are still in front of him. (I had to add this rule, as I feel that allowing the player to simply throw an object at any given point to immediately be rid of him, every single time, would pretty much eliminate all difficulty.)

  • A few more destructible objects have been added, and the proximity at which objects will be associated with you when broken (giving away your location) has been slightly increased.

Also, to address the accusation I keep seeing everywhere - No, Captured was not inspired by the movie “Don’t Breathe” (a movie I have yet to even see). The creation of this game started long before that movie came along. If you want to know the truth, the concept of Captured was actually partly inspired by “Amnesia: Justine”. Then later in development, the “Saw” movies, with the addition of other victims. (Originally, there were no other victims. Just you and Damien.)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
