V1.7 Update

Hey, it's another update. You know what that means - MORE CONTENT. Remember, charge your batteries because they will quickly run out due to the voltage of this update.

  • Two new fights are added - Genocide Muffet and Bobert! Bobert was once a lost relic from Tales of Underlegends, but now he is BACK with more sugar than ever! Prepare for CANDY HEAVEN!

    • To unlock Bobert, you will need to beat Angry Sans and Mettaton NEO.

    • To unlock Muffet, you will need to beat Genocide Toriel and Undyne The True Undying.

  • For those who don't have a lot of time alone, a Family Friendly mode has been added to the game. This changes some sprites as well as removing almost all of the violent language. Here's what changes with it on:

    • Angela has a longer shirt, and wears grey tracksuit bottoms instead of a skirt.

    • The OC in the menu is no longer present.

    • Words to do with death are no longer present, except in certain circumstances.

    • Foul language has been replaced with nicer sounding words. Some context has been changed as a result of this.

    • Blood and gore are removed from all sprites that have any resemblance of it.

    • The status message on the Game Over screen will change to a single line of text, unless you get Scooby Doo'ed, Pikachu'ed, or try to toggle Debug mid-fight.

    • Deaths are now referred to as Fails, and will always be referred to as wins and losses.

  • A speed modifier has been added to allow players to speed up the game for more difficult experiences.

  • Some parts of the game got nerfed, including the rework of a whole fight that I deemed too unfair for the casual player.

    • Dustbelief has a rework for most of the attacks. You can still play the original by selecting Classic.

    • The second attack of Sudden Changes Sans phase 1 has been nerfed to prevent unavoidable jumps.

    • The final attack of Sudden Changes Sans phase 1 has been nerfed to decrease the precision required to no-hit the attack.

    • Angry Sans' third attack is easier to play, much like the level it was before I reworked the bonewall creators.

    • Angry Sans' double blaster attack in phase 2 has been nerfed. You no longer need to use cheese in order to no-hit it with RNG SUX mode.

  • NO HIT BONUS will no longer count towards a challenge run, as completing No Item/Heal/Hit with it enabled will not display the challenge text on the main menu. Any challenge runs that were already done with NO HIT BONUS are unaffected by this change.

  • The previews for the last two bonus games are now set to what they will actually be, instead of scribbles that I put there before for giggles. Final Fight remains blank.

  • BOSS RUSH has been added, allowing players to fight multiple bosses consecutively. It also has an built-in timer which will run until either all bosses are defeated or the player fails. This MUST be completed in one run in order for it to count.

  • For those who like hunting for Scooby Doo, there's now an indicator below the star rating, which displays how many Scooby Doos there are in a fight and fills in how many you have found.

    • This won't get filled in if you get the 1-in-10 chance of being Pikachu'ed, which is impossible to get if you play on RNG SUX.

  • Talking of star rating, some recalculation was done with certain fights. In addition, a new line of red stars will show on top of the black stars that appear if the rating goes above 20 points. Beyond a rating of 40, the difficulty will change its name and no more stars will be overlayed.

  • "GOOD LUCK LMAO" has been changed to "GODLIKE".

  • Toggling Debug Mode mid-fight is no longer possible, including the ability to switch to Easy Mode. If you attempt to do toggle Debug mid-fight, you will be instantly killed.

  • Status messages have been added to most of the fights.

  • A death counter is now visible on the Game Over screen.

  • Mettaton NEO has a new mechanic - STYLE POINTS. This does not affect how the fight plays out, but gives rewards for destroying extra blocks, no-hitting an attack, and not shooting Minitons.

    • In addition to this, the cooldown for firing shots has been toned down drastically, but compensates by taking away Style Points if you miss a shot.

  • ACT healing is no longer possible. All healing must be done by using ITEMs, which went unused in most games until now.

    • With some exceptions, you will be given a healing attack upon consuming an item. This does not affect fight progression.

  • FUN values have been added, which change certain sprites at certain values. Has no effect on gameplay.

  • Skippable cutscenes in the game now provide a prompt, telling the player that they can skip by pressing C.

  • The items menu has been reworked to take on a new style. This does not apply to the other menus.
