Version 0.1.1


Beta 0.1.1 is out!

This version introduces a new player mechanic system witch improves the parkour controls responsiveness ant fixes a bunch of issues.
It also introduces a completely new and better HUD for an immersive gameplay.
Changelog:

New Features:

  • Gameplay: New redesigned player mechanics.

    • Character responsiveness to controls have been improved.

    • Player physics changed from realistic to player-friendly.

    • Problems with clipping and jittering collisions have been fixed.

    • Player no longer slides on slopes.

  • UI: New completely redesigned Game UI with new animations and appearance

    • New land impact animation.

    • Level start animation remade.

    • Capsule UI animation remade.

    • Checkpoint pickup animation remade.

    • Light Beam indicator design improved.

    • New Light Beam indicator warning popup.

    • New progress indicator UI.

    • HUD is now displayed with slight corner distortions.

    • New crosshair design and animation.

    • Restart menu redesigned.

  • UI: Added option settings: game resolution, fullscreen mode, anisotropic filter.

  • UI: New ingame changelog.

  • Graphics: Added player hand animation for landing.

  • Audio: Added Player Landing sound effect.

  • Audio: Added Light Beam disabling sound effect.

Changes:

  • UI: Graphic adjustment slider changed to texture quality drop menu.

  • UI: Main menu now exists only in one screen.

  • Graphics: Tweaked ambient occlusion behavior.

  • Graphics: Glass now have reflections for better perception.

  • Graphics: Tweaked some post-process effects.

  • Gameplay: Resizing capsules now levitate the player while operating.

  • Gameplay: Game can no longer pause until player is being resized.

  • Gameplay: Player can no longer push Puzzle Cubes in the ground.

Fixes / Optimizations:

  • [FIXED]: Can’t use proper capsule after returned to checkpoint.

  • [FIXED]: Pause menu and Main menu have different minimum values for mouse sensitivity.

  • [OPTIMIZED]: Player physics simplified with less performance impact.

Reporting any bug you find really helps on the development.
