I’ve put together a new build - it’s a mix of both small visual and gameplay fixes
The playing field is smaller - to make wrapping around the edges of the screen easier
The bacteria are a bit tougher - they require more hits to get hurt
Physics improvements - the general feel of bacteria is improved. Also, dimmed enemies (that are of a different color) become more more rigid and also move and grow slower to simulate the idea of a terrain better
Splitting bug fixed - there was a bug when bacteria split, where they could get locked into one another
I’ve also took the time to create a web build for anyone who doesn’t want to bother with downloadable stuff, although I highly recommend the desktop version.
