Version 1.0.1.0 released!

As promised, an update! The new and improved version 1.0.1.0 makes many changes and additions to the game, such as:

  • Experience and Leveling Up! Killing enemies gives you experience and level ups boost damage output and fire rate for some weapons.

  • New Difficulty Algorithm! The equation that determines the difficulty (i.e. how much damage enemies deal and take) has been updated to make the game a little easier, as most people had a hard time with the original release.

  • Debuffing Certain Enemies! The Dragon Heads (the guys that stay on the ground and shoot at you) have been given a weakness to the pistol as to balance them; in the original version, you were better off tanking a hit and running past them.

  • Weapon Balancing! The machine gun was the most useful weapon in the first game and the pistol was the least, so some data values were tweaked to make the pistol more useful and the shotgun, well, it has a little quirk. (HINT: the shotgun might not be good when you first start off, but is better when you level up a bit).

  • And Many Other Minor Details! Other changes include instructions packaged into the readme file, the health/experience bars fading slightly while you are in their drawing space, and a few others that escape me at the moment.

I believe that is everything, but I usually forget a small tweak or two. It’s all there in the download.

Please report any problems or glitches you might find in the game and I’ll see if I can fix them. And as always, thank you for playing!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

"Our work is never over" they said.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
