Here we are back with another update. It's been A LOT since the last one but school got in the way. This update brings new quality of life changes, a brand new foe and more!
QUALITY OF LIFE
The game will now generally run much more smoothly and with less bug while in the main menu thanks to a complete rewriting and optimization of the code!
The skin prices were adjusted following the changes on the economy. Their price is now also "data driven" to allow management easily.
The bol wiki now has a dynamic bol discovery system! Instead of seeing all the bols from the start, you'll actually have to encounter them in the battlefield to see them in the wiki and know what they can do!
MUSIC AND SOUND
The Mechanism and Smily skins now have dedicated soundtracks! The Mechanism one was composed by me, while the Smily one was made by our beloved Colo!
The megabol now has an ominous sound when you get close to it, which gets more intense as you get closer.
When you select a skin the game now plays a sound.
There is a brand new general volume slider!
DIO's soundtrack now loops correctly.
NEW FOE
Introducing: the HOMING BOL!
The homing bol was created from a radar. Its goal is to track you down, increasing its speed over time. The only way to stop the homing bol is to catch its mischievous detonator, which bounces very fast in the battle field (in normal mode it slows down gradually, while in hard mode it remains very fast!).
WHAT'S AHEAD?
The developement of the game has, as you can see, slowed down quite a bit due to school. With the arrival of summer, I might get back to develop it more frequently. Next update might be about custom wallpapers for the game scene! But we'll see, we never know.
