Version 1.5.0 a.k.a. 5th Anniversary Update!

Woo, boy!

This year marks the 5th year since Round Rotate was made and published! Of course, the actual anniversary day will happen late this August, which is less than 8 months from now.

Also this update originally supposed to release alongside a new trailer, however, my laptop's processor will never let me do one so... oh well.

Plus, this will be the very last update for this game before Round Rotate 2, the sequel to this game came out soon, so staaaaaaaay tuned!

What's new?

Well... not much is new besides the new SONAR logo, but there are some other UI changes as well.

  • Reworked main menu icons, now the colors should look better now ⁽ʰᵒᵖᵉᶠᵘˡˡʸ⁾

  • Removed the Links (previously Get Online) screen, and the menu item that originally leads to the screen was replaced with the link to SONAR's website

  • Removed the Warning screen at the start of the game since that's kind of unnecessary anymore

Aaaaaand that's pretty much it, however...

Last words

This game has been a Game Jolt exclusive for a long time now, but it's time for that to change!

Yes, this update (as well as the game itself) will also be available on itch.io and Kartridge simultaneously! However, in these releases, the features powered by Game Jolt's platform integration will get cut.

And with that, I officially declared, further development of Round Rotate 1 has reached its climax ᵘⁿˡᵉˢˢ ᶦᶠ ᵗʰᵉʳᵉ ᵃʳᵉ ᵇᵘᵍᶠᶦˣᵉˢ ᵗᵒ ᵇᵉ ᵈᵒⁿᵉ ᵒᶠ ᶜᵒᵘʳˢᵉ and the rest of its legacy will continue soon in Round Rotate 2.

Thank you very much for all of your support on this game and wish me luck for the future! (because I really need it right now hahaha)
