Version v1.0.0.6 - Update History

New Features:

  • Pause menu, with player inventory & “map” (Press enter to pause).

  • Background music

  • Chests, player can loot items from them.

  • ‘Cinematic animation’ support, used while opening the chest currently.

  • New room with the chest to test. Sadly no new actual places to play.

  • Save spots, used for saving game from now on.

  • Game can be closed from the pause menu (Press enter to pause).

Bug Fixes:

  • Player won’t tilt, atleast so much as they used to, when standing on a moving platform and it changed direction. Pause fixes, bunch of them.

Adjustments:

  • Most of the half pixel movements have been adjusted so the game doesn’t let them be 1 and a half pixel, but true pixels, avoiding some of the graphical glitches.

  • Checkpoints will now only set the checkpoint to the location instead of also saving the game while activating a checkpoint.

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
