Lords-comrades. I think you are all aware of what is happening in Ukraine.
However, today we will not touch on politics.
We will discuss such a movement that should develop and grow in GameJolt - "Games outside of politics." It seems to me that not only games, but any kind of creativity should be outside politics.
Since the beginning of the events of February 2022, I have repeatedly encountered the toxicity of ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ Ukrainian users. Once again, carefully: ๐๐๐๐ Ukrainian users. I'm not saying they are all like that. Every time I came across this, I had to cut the limits of my imagination. But this is not the worst. Due to the toxicity of Ukrainian users, I even had to not use my native Russian language.
Some Ukrainian users struggle with ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ Russian on the web and this makes it difficult to create. I will call it in one word - ๐๐ช๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ค๐๐๐.
Why am I not allowed to freely use my language? Do not misunderstand, but this is only comparable to the NSDAP regime in the Third Reich. Why, if I'm Russian, do I become persona non-grant anywhere?
I think we should ๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ the politicization of FNaF. People should not be divided by race. This is a stupid stereotype about an Evil Russian that has even made its way into Fnaf.
I can't stand it. My right, honor and dignity are humiliated and violated. I want to be free to create and speak the language I can. Isn't that what justice is? Isn't that fair?
The opinion of Genosse-Pavel, one of the members of the Iterum Insel development team (Paenitentia Team) :
โI can't put into words what I'm experiencing. Because the Western FNaF community will hound me and crush me. I am Russian. I am dissatisfied, humiliated and depressed. But I don't have to kneel before anyone.โ
I tried to avoid political topics until the very end. But I'm humbled for having a Russian background in the horror gaming community. If you are passionate and just want to play FNaF games and have fun like me please spread the hashtags :
Thank you for your attention.
