Very slow FPS?

Dear shipmates,

There have been some reports suggesting that Floating Sandbox 1.15.2 might run very slowly on certain configurations.

It looks like there might be an issue with computers equipped with the "Intel HD Graphics 2000" card. We're looking into it. If you are experiencing the same issue, could you reply with a comment to this thread telling us which graphics adapter your box is running?

EDIT:

The bug has been identified. It affects users with an Intel HD Graphics card, 2000 or 4000. We will soon release a 1.15.3 fix for these users.

EDIT:

We have a workaround for the Intel issue and we have verified that it works flawlessly, at least on an Intel HD Graphics 2000. We are ready to release a patch, but given that anti-virus software seems to have become more aggressive lately (including Windows Defender) and is giving troubles to some of you, we have applied for a code-signing certificate that will provide evidence to anti-virus software that the game binaries are from us. This is a lengthy process that will take at least another week, so please be patient! The patch will come soon.

EDIT:

The patch is out, see this post.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
