Victor Victorious Mac and Linux Versions

Victor Victorious is an odd little game, and it’s rather wonderful that even a handful of people have taken an interest in it. However, I think it’s about time the game got a slightly wider audience. As such, I’ll be creating Mac and Linux distributions for the game fairly soon.

The Mac distribution will be available tomorrow (08/01/2015), though probably not until the evening, and the Linux distribution will be available shortly after that.

Obviously, being a Windows user, I don’t have access to a Mac or a Linux computer, so I won’t be able to test whether these distributions run properly, so feedback would be appreciated once I have put them up, just to let me know that they’re working.

I’m not really a big fan of Macs to be honest- I don’t like Apple, the company behind them (they treat many of their workers in poorer countries like slaves to the extent that it’s resulted in numerous suicides and they only stopped using Conflict Minerals when public attention lighted on the issue). Plus the computers themselves are too minimalist and I fucking hate minimalism. But I get that a lot of people own them and that denying ordinary folks access to content because I have issues with a company (and their stupid, poxy underdesigned machines) would be kind of a dick move. As such, you can expect the Mac distribution to appear tomorrow.

Steve Jobs (or rather, Steve Jobs’s restless zombie) can still kiss my petite anglo-Irish arse though.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
