Was just trying to set up a source control solution due to recent events. MS dissapoints once again.

I decided to use my laptop as a local server since it just sits and collects dust. Running Windows 8 on the laptop, I attempted to use the Homegroups feature MS has been pushing in our faces since Windows Vista, only to find out MS has removed it from Windows 10 ever since version 1803.

I tried using third-party software, however, that meant I could no longer simply paste it over, but had to manually go download the files, defeating the purpose of what I'm trying to do. Not to mention it only half-worked anyway.

Lastly, I tried simply connecting to the laptop through the network tab in the explorer, but it kept asking for a login, for which it recognized the username I gave, but no password was correct no matter how hard I tried.

TL;DR: Homegroups got removed, no other way to share files over LAN worked out, third-party or built-in.

Good news!

Development is slowly resuming. We're now simply more busy than we used to be for years, so development will still likely be a little slower, but it's once again underway.

Have a screenshot of us having fun testing the new developer console! :)
