In 1974, Henry and William opened the very first Fredbear's Location, they ordered a Bear suit and a bunny suit, Fredbear and Bonnbunny. They had normal colors, Fredbear was brown and Bonnbunny was also brown. In 1978 William came up with the idea of animatronic robots. They changed to colors to gold since it was cheaper to produce gold parts then colored parts and so the first Fredbear and Bonnbunny animatronic was made, nicknamed Cakebear and Songbunny to not confuse the two with the current versions and it was their former occupation. Variants of Fredbear and Bonnbunny: Springfreddy (sometimes call Spring Fredbear) and Springbonnie were exclusively springlock suits for birthday parties.

William then found out that all of his ideas were sucessful but he wasn't getting the proper credit.

He got furious when he found out Henry was getting really rich and he didn't get a single penny, so he murdered Henry's daughter and wanted the buisness to fall apart, so in 1980, 6 children were found dead at Fredbear's and the place was closed and Fredbear's was put in a bad light, William still not found.

3 years later, Henry thought that William had forgot about the incident, and reopened Fredbear's with new and improved animatronics from Williams blueprints of the animatronics, which leads to the events of WBTF 2.

Henry had made two versions of the animatronics:

Silver (or prototype) animatronics for people to rent for at home birthday parties or suprise parties, they were to be shipped from multiple "Fredwares" Warehouses across the US. Which also contains prototype models of animatronics to be shipped in certain Fredbear's locations for parts (explaining why Prototype Foxy, Prototype Golden Bonnie and Prototype Golden Chica are in the game). Only two "Prototype" Animatronics exist: Prototype (or silver) Foxy and Greybear

Then was the most popular; Golden Animatronics, they were springlock hybrids meaning they can act as both a animatronic and springlock suit the springlocks are much safer than the old suits, and since the children really liked the Golden aesthetic the company never gave the animatronics colors.

One of the New and Improved locations were looking for both a nightguard and entertainer, so John and Jerry got the job, Jerry was night guard, one of his friends (Tom) was actually a phone instructor and he also had another one to tell the night guard about the animatronics (Alex), there was also the manager who would occasionally tell the night guard about some news (Luke), all the phone calls were prerecorded.

After the 5th Night, Alex warned Jerry about the Fredbear animatronic and that it was very unstable, Fredbear gets in the office and grabs the phone instructor in fury and chomps his head, which is what the public dubbed as the Bite of 83, the reason was mostly cause the child possesing him thought he was William (like in FNAF)
