So, this is it -- we've reached the end of 2025. A year of much work, and many achievements, in which ARTIUS went from my countless sketches and silly little programming tests made over the years to something that shaped my life and the lives of everyone involved in the project.
It was a very fulfilling experience to transform ARTIUS into a professional project, and consequently, to officially establish this whole thing as our jobs. I thought making indie-games for a living was impossible until a few years ago, but here we are: working, bringing the game to more people, and consequently receiving more support. Becoming the true indie developers I always wanted to be.
It was a pleasure to participate in events and everything surrounding the networking process -- that was something I only saw in movies (like the classic Indie Game the Movie) so it was surreal to actually be there in person having our own booth as indie developers. Actually insane.
Our biggest challenge this year was trying to participate in SAGE with a game demo – a huge pressure to deliver the project to the world. But we went for it – and it was worth it! We are extremely grateful to every person who is part of this community, who played, talked, or simply follows and enjoys our game – we leave here our sincere gratitude as a team. The support means a lot.
Now the plan is to go even.. further.. beyond! Still a long way to go – and many plans are coming for next year - so be on the look-out for that!
Thank you so much for participating in this journey with us – may 2026 be a great year!
