Week #1

Hello dear followers!

Well, I have been busy this week , and I didn’t make a lot of progress with the game. The main thing I can state is that I’m making new (and tinier) sprites for the game, because it’s easier to finish so I’ll be able to program the game’s systems as soon as possible.

I now ‘bake’ the game’s HUD when it starts which made Towncraft run a lot faster. With that, I’ll be able to put mini-map directly on screen without losing so much FPS (once I get all the solid things like buildings and tiles when needed and only get actors’ positions constantly).

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
