So, I was thinking of ways to make the backtracking required in a metroidvania less painful, and I came up with this idea.
Not sure if it’s been done before or what, but it’s being done for the (maybe) first time or (maybe) the millionth!
This game is going to have a Super Mario Bros style overworld, where finding secret exits to areas will unlock alternate overworld paths to go down. Here’s a test of the game system!
