Welcome to the first devlog post for

Eldritchvania is a metroidvania style game that focuses on puzzles, exploration, mind bending horrors and a deep sprawling story.

You play as the aged occultist, Dougald, as he desperately searches for his son in the strange, decaying ruins beneath Blackhorn Church.

Beware, for the world will change and transform around you as your sanity drips away!

You may have seen a thing or two from this already on Twitter. We've been working on Eldritchvania since mid December, 2018. There's still a long way to go, but we're finally ready to start talking about it!

We'll be posting devlogs along the way, talking about design decisions, showing off things we think are cool, and trying not to spoil anything.

We hope you'll join us for the ride by following our page here on Game Jolt and letting us know what you think as we go.

Since the last Eldritchvania update we've been reading feedback and watching game play videos; which lead us to witnessing and fixing more bugs.
