Welcome to Risen!

First off, thank you for stopping by and checking out our game-in-progress! We’re thrilled to have you here, especially because Risen is still very much a work in progress. What started as a small idea about demons and religious horror has grown into something much bigger, and let’s just say, the journey has been... eventful. 3 YEARSSSSSS!!

You might be wondering, “Why is this game taking so long?” Well, let me give you the inside scoop. Developing Risen has been a marathon of epic proportions. It’s like building a haunted house with a flashlight and a can of paint—except the house is full of terrifying demons and the flashlight is our very ambitious coding skills. We’ve been battling bugs (the digital kind, though we do have a few real ones around the office), pushing through creative blocks, and living off a diet of caffeine and sheer determination.

Our team has poured countless hours into making sure that Risen delivers a spine-chilling experience. From crafting the perfect creepy atmosphere to designing nightmarish creatures that will make you think twice before turning off the lights, we’re giving it everything we’ve got. And let’s not forget the endless rounds of testing, tweaking, and re-tweaking. If there was an award for the most coffee consumed during a game’s development, we’d probably be in the running for that too.

We’re fully aware that the game is still a bit rough around the edges, but that’s where you come in. Your feedback is invaluable. Whether you’ve got suggestions, find bugs, or just want to share your thoughts on the game, we’d love to hear from you. It’s like having a conversation with your most loyal testers, except with fewer awkward silences and more digital demons.

So, how long will it take to finish Risen? Honestly, that’s a bit of a moving target. We’re working hard to get everything just right, and while we don’t have an exact release date yet, we’re committed to making sure that when it does drop, it’s worth every moment you’ve spent waiting. Think of it like waiting for your favorite TV show’s next season—except you get to see it grow and evolve in real-time!

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. We promise to keep you updated with our progress and share more as we go along. Here’s to many more sleepless nights and exciting milestones ahead!

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
