Hello everyone! Glad to have you on my Game Jolt page! I am not new to developing games like Alex's Escape, but I am new to posting them on Game Jolt. This game started development in September by me, and two other people, we created a team called "Team Hack/Team H-J-H" This game was for a school project. Due to the current situation, obviously, school has been called off. Which basically cancelled our plans for the game. The team has stopped development together. So I decided to pick it up where we left it off together. (this will not be the only game I ever make/post on here, stay on the lookout, one is coming). I will go through what in the game is completed, and what is not

SPOILER ALERT!!!

if you would like to play the game "blindfolded" when it comes out, please do not proceed.

  1. Intro: Complete! (Finished: Sometime around mid October)

    This intro gives you all necessary dialogue you will need to start the game. Complete with a fully working skip button if you're too lazy to read the dialogue :P

2. Home/Movement: Complete! (Finished: Sometime around mid December

Navigate around the screen with WASD, or Arrow Keys. You can press the left or right arrows to go to the next screen over, to explore more terrain.

3. Shop: Complete! (Finished: a couple weeks ago :P)

While the shop itself and the ability to go inside and navigate through pages has been here since November/December or so... this new and better model of the shop was made just weeks ago. So, while it was basically all finished in late November/Early December, i'm including that date due to the new model. In the shop, you can look at weapons to purchase, and talk to the shopkeeper

4. Weapons/Items: In Progress (Projected Release Date: adding them into the game may take months to years, the first few will be added a few months after release if everything goes according to plan. Models and pricing are complete and, while you can't purchase them, you can look at them and their stats in the shop)

Want something more powerful to fight with than a bullet? The shop has got you covered. Spend your money on swords, clubs, daggers, etc. to improve your combat game.

Level 1: In Progress (Projected Release Date: Will be almost if not fully complete at launch. Maximum 3 months time. Level 1 Models, Dialogue, and general needs are completed, but there is very little to fight currently, and it is very buggy)

Level 1 is called "The Skeleboss level" It has a beautifully modeled skeleton and beautifully modeled mini-skeletons. Sure it may seem easy, as the first wave suggests. But it gets much harder

5. Extra (Health Bar, Money Bar, Objectives, Help, etc.): Complete! (Completed: January/February)

there's not much to say here tbh :)

6. Sound Effects/Music: Complete! (Completed: November)

This game has a plentiful amount of sound effects topped with beautiful, fitting, combat and relaxing music to keep your gameplay as interesting as possible!
