Well, it's been a while!


Hey everyone! It’s definitely been a while since we updated you guys on the development of Double Helix. The 2 developers currently working on this project, hidaz and Dreamsmith have gotten caught up in school and other life things in the short time that development was halted. I, hidaz, have started working on the project again. I plan to hopefully release the game within the next month or two once we get some polish things done.

What are you currently working on?

  • Recreating the in-game UI. It feels too ugly and doesn’t flow very well.

  • Patching some major bugs we know exist, but haven’t gotten around to doing it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
