Alright, it's been way to long since we said anything for it so I might as well tell you folks as to what's going on with Overcooked, why we haven't said anything about the game and the future plan for this game

What's going on with Overcooked and the development of it ?

Well.. okay I'm gonna be honest, we barely did anything to this game in all honestly. We haven't worked on this game for 8 months, it doesn't mean we did no little planning for this game or something like that. We actually did have a plan for this game such as the poses for blam, new title, mechanics ideas and also the lore, as well the extra content for it. The problem is that these plans were made in like October or November 2024 and the actual work for this game was like few months ago. And admittedly I regret for not working on this game for few months as I do genuinely love this game and have so many ideas for it, it was sort of my baby and @kibby_gams feels that way as well. Unfortunately that's not the main reason as to why we haven't worked on it.

Why we haven't said anything about the game/ no updates on it ?

There are 2 reasons as to why we haven't developed this game, 1. Working on different projects and 2. We have lives to deal with.
I'll start with reason number 1, as you know a few months ago me and @kibby_gams joined OWaF Recracked team to help out the Recracked and we had a blast working with them and met talented folks and amazing friends. Because of this, we spent way a long ass time working on Recracked which made us forget Overcooked not gonna lie lol. A lot stuff changed during our involvement with Recracked and I genuinely can't wait to show y'all our efforts and works on that game, all I can say is that the game had biggest glow up atleast to me and others. AND recently @kibby_gams decided to revive Five Nights with Flumpty's with @AmnesiaGal_Official the original creator of said game, I recommend you all to go check out OWaF Recracked and FNwF to show some love and appreciation. Reason number 2 which I'm pretty sure most of you all know that we have lives outside of Overcooked, Recracked and such. We have school to handle and also deal with IRL stuff as well which lower our time to work on Overcooked and other projects too. I know it's very common for developers say they're busy with IRL stuff in these but we aren't ONaF game making machines who serve you nothing but Flumpty and that's it (cough cough some impatient ONaF children fan cough cough).

So what's going to happen to OWaF Overcooked in future ?

Well I hate to say this but the game will be put on hold until all of the current projects are done, the game will be also be hidden until enough progresses has made on the game and close to finishing the game. It's an unfortunate news for you all and I feel that way as well but it's really for the best for both me and @kibby_gams to avoid a lot of pressures and also burnouts. We'll still be developing Overcooked in our pace instead of procrastinating and being pressured, so yeah that's atleast some good news for you folks.
