It's been a long time since we've talked, so we thought we'd share a little more extra this time and let you all know why we've been away for so long.

Why we haven't had an update.

Simply put... we currently are making a lot of stuff in spoiler territory for Act 2 but we have already finished Act 1's script and most sprites. All that remains for Act 1 now is making Undertinge's systems (which will take the longest but will make future updates and new Acts be made quicker), adding character animations, some updates for the tilemap, and other stuff which we probably forgot, lol.

Of course you might say, "Hey that's what they've been telling us for years! When are those pesky systems finally finished???"
Well we can't promise a date (most of the team will be too busy playing Silksong), but the main coder is planning to release some kind of devlog in September or October.

Now onto the new jobs!

In this almost half a year already (wow time really flies huh!) we've gained and lost all kinds of team members, simply put, we are actually allowing all kinds of people in the team!

And another update for everyone is that our director Mrmitten has been busy with real life a lot, he's gotten a job and it takes lots of time from working on the game unfortunately. That's why we've been hesitant to update these past months since we kept thinking we could make a nice animation or some kind of video, but that isn't really possible anymore unfortunately. (I TobyDog7 (the main coder and co-director) am making this post just so everyone knows)

It doesn't matter if your a beginner willing to learn to an expert who has been in the field for years, but I will say we are definitely looking for members who are willing to discuss and speak up about ideas/concepts about the game.
