'Sup? It's me again.

Yeah, I know it has been a while, and don't worry, I have my reasons.

Similarly to what I said in my other post, I've just been much more focused on other projects (namely on my YouTube channel) along with just sort of forgetting about Corrupt.

Remember the updates that I teased a year ago? With the quality of life improvements and an entirely new chapter? Well... that stuff's been cancelled.

No, it is not because I'm too busy with other things, it's because I just think it is unnecessary now. Not only is this game almost two years old at this point, but there is already a sequel to the story of Corrupt, called World Traveler 64, a Super Mario 64 Machinima series that I'm working on. Since I have a clearer image of the "Shyrx Saga" story in my mind now, the additional story that I was planning on adding to this game seemed kinda pointless since it only added story that could be better explained (and also not be as obvious) in World Traveler, plus it was pretty out of place compared to the other chapters in the game (I won't explain how).

I did feel like releasing the 1.1 update on its own, which changed various dialogue to what I consider to be truly canonical among other quality of life changes (such as credits), but honestly, at this point there is already a machinima adaptation of the game to watch which I consider to be the truly canonical version, so there's no need for that update either.

However... I did have another project somewhat related to Corrupt in mind. It probably won't reach fruition, but if all the planets align and I do bring myself to do that project, then I guarantee it will be something special. All I'll say about it is this: World Traveler 64 probably won't be just a machinima series.
