so the shotgun can be weilded by 4 classes, the soldier, the pyro, the engineer, and the heavy. but certain shotguns can only be used by certain classes. how would certain shotguns need to be modified to fit certain classes, lets find out
shotgun/panic attack: alrady on all 4 classes
family buisness/pompson 6000: really these shotguns could be used by all classes and nothing would need to be changed (lets be honest the pmopson would be useless no matter what class was using it)
reserve shooter: this weapon would need to be modified to be used by the engineer and heavy because neither of them have a way to send their targets aribone (well engineer could do some funky stuff with the wrangler but that would be too much work for too little payoff). I'd say that we'd keep the mini crit mechaninc, but apply it to something else. for heavy I would have it mini crit on slowed, or pushed targets, making it an ideal MVM weapon to use after obtaining the knockback upgrade, and in the main game it could be used in combination with the natascha to really get the jump on those pesky scouts. as for engineer I'd make the reserve shooter a spy detergent, where if your building is cirrently being sapped this weapon will do guarnteed mini crit damage until the sapper is knocked off or the building dies
rescue ranger: now this weapon is interesting as it's one of the three that is tailor made for the engineer. how I would fit it onto other classes is as a support weapon, the upsides would be that this weapon would eb able to heal friendly buildings when being shot at said buildings. the downsides would stay the same, lower clip size, and lower power. now pybros will be even more effieicnet than ever
the widowmaker: what this weapon would do on the other classes would be that it would use your primary ammo to fire instead of metal, but it would still refill that ammo when it makes contact, keeping the idea of the weapon the same. this would be especially risky when used by the soldier
the frontier justace: okay this one took some thought but I think I've found a way to make this work. this weapon would store one crit for every kill you get with your primary. however you wouldn't be able to use these crits until you used all of your primary ammo. of course the downsieds of this weapon would stay the same, lower clip, you lose crit when you die ECT
