What is happening?!?!

Well, let me tell you what is happening. CHANGES! A lot of them.
First, we are now happy to announce that we went through a refactoring phase. We organized the code, we have rewritten a large portion of the project, but the most important thing is that we are now ready to add new gameplay features. The terrain now has different types of voxels all over the place. Another visual and mechanical upgrade (I hope so) is that the inventory now is a Diablo style inventory. In other words, different items do not necessarily occupy the same number of slots.

Now about the technical stuff.

The different types of terrain are achieved by layering different types of voxels. As we generate the terrain, each voxel type gets batched in a specific mesh meaning we generate now 3 new meshes with the same number of triangles. The number of generated mesh will increase as we add different types of terrain.

As for the inventory, we are currently considering about adding stacking mechanics. WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK. So, make sure to leave us a comment.

What is coming? *I hear you ask*

Well, not gonna lie. We are planning something groundbreaking. Something so unique that even we did not believe we could think of. Make sure you follow the game, because soon something new is coming. Stay tuned. Stay healthy.

This was Serafeim,

Have a good one, gamers!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Why walk when you can jump?

OK, this starts to be too tricky puzzle already :D
