Hi all, it has been a long, long time since I've posted any kind of update, or at least it feels that way, and for a lot of different reasons. One of the main ones being that with Trailer 1 and 2 both being out there, I haven't seen a real need to show more of the game than what's already been revealed thus far, since it might start creeping into spoiler-heavy territory. There is something else as well, but I can't go into the details right now (another side project).
If I'm going to be completely honest with you all, development has slowed a great ton recently, but I'm hoping to go full speed ahead during the middle of this year. Likely a lot of 'crunching' needs to be done.
I am super determined to finish this game still, but due to the scope of the entire game itself, it is going to take a while longer compared to my previous fangames.
One of the other big things is that due to Clickteam's many technical limitations, I've been having to look for work-arounds to make the game work, so that in of itself has been super frustrating, but I think I've got a clear idea now on how things will play and function.
I honestly don't want the development to drag into another year, so I'm really hoping I can get this done by the end of this year.
I'll try to keep you all posted on my progress, likely when I feel that I'm getting very close to getting everything complete.
It's a bit cliche at this point, but I want to thank you all for your patience this far and the support! Apologies for the super slow devlog updates, hopefully this might help clear the air a little bit.
