What’s happening so far?

Lots of irl stuff been happening that I’d consider unimportant to bring here.

However, I’m back in collage working for my bachelors in computer science.

At the same time I’ve been working on the story once more laying out all the details I have so far and how the story goes. To ensure if in the future this game takes off and if in the event I am no longer present to foresee my project I also have shared copies with close trusted friends to ensure nothing is tampered.

the story itself has been rather well polished out and I’m very happy with the results.

To those who end up playing this game, it’ll question players “How much is a soul worth?” Inspired by HBO Chernobyl's “what’s the cost of lies?”. How much is a soul worth? Is it worth all the riches of this world? Indulging in crime and corruption, cutting out problems even by force?

“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”

Expect more once development begins!

Looking for people to pair up with on my project, however here’s a meme with a grain of lore

Evnin!

So currently in Florida but posting this here incase there’s anyone that would like to help out with the game in some way or just chat on discord! Very chill and all and anything to help with the project I'm very open to!

We are under attack!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Finished a project I've been working on over the last few days!

Modeled and textured in Blender.

Just a Pico sprite

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Strange Umbrella

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?
