With the recent milestone of achieving a successful, albeit a slightly bugged gaming session with one of the viewers visiting the livestream, I’ve come ever closer to a product that could be considered as Pre-Alpha publication acting as an early access product.
This sort of an open style of game space navigation actually makes me consider some interesting PvP game mode possibilities. The much less limiter ability to traverse the level geometry certainly does seem compelling…
Hide and seek (Prop Hunt-like deal)
Hunter and Prey
King of the Hill
Tag
… game modes come to mind.
I’ve still got a few things to add to this particular game mode:
Ascension,
which, as I’ve witnessed today, seems to already make up a pretty fun experience when played with a friend. Seeing if or how you can traverse a randomly generated level. Heck, right now I can already think of a competitive mode for this.First one Up wins the race…
need a better name though but this already makes up a pretty fun competitive game.
I still gotta add the:
main menu
right mouse to zoom view
level advancement and transition
Jump sfx
Compose more music
High Score for the competitive level mode.
oh and I will have to move quite a lot of the code into header files. Place is getting too cluttered.
