Hello.

It's been a while since I last posted anything, and I figured it's time to break the silence.

It's kind of wild to think it's been almost two years since I released this silly game to the world. This was my first ever finished game, and honestly, the reception it got blew me away. I didn’t expect that kind of support, and it meant a lot.

That said, as time went on, I started noticing all the things I didn’t like about the game. Various design decisions just didn’t sit right with me anymore, and that led to me wanting to go back and make things right... a proper 2.0 update.

I’ve tried, more than once, to bring that update to life. But every time I started, I’d get too ambitious, the scope would get out of control, and eventually, I’d scrap the whole thing. Working on the same game over and over got frustrating, and eventually, I told myself I was done with it...

However, things have changed since then.

A good friend of mine offered to pick up where I left off and bring the update across the finish line. Most of it was already there, it just needed someone to trim the fat, polish up what was unfinished, and actually release it. And that’s exactly what they’re doing.

So, while I may have stepped away from the project, 2.0 is back on the menu.

And who knows… There might even be more Thug Hunters in the future. Maybe.
