Where have I been... again?

more in article below

Hello ladies and gentlemen - Paul here.

So, Halloween is coming at the very end of the month, and already my mum's mentioning stuff about Christmas instead, as usual. But that has nothing to do with what I am talking about here.

The next update of AHaR may be my last for a while, I've had another project on my mind that I want to work on and I don't like working on multiple things simultaneously - it isn't anything FNaF related, but it is something related to a certain hedgehog you may be familiar with; more info about this later on in the year or so. Anyways from the screenshot above you may be wondering, what's with all the random strings of numbers? Why is there a small bar in place of the power? And why does the Night text say ENDLESS instead?

I'd be happy to ask you that! It's some debugging stuff that I use to see where everyone is while I test out some stuff in the game - it's on a hidden layer and there isn't a code to access it. As for the Night text saying Endless, I'm going to announce a new mode in the next update of AHaR: ENDLESS NIGHT!

In Endless night, all you have to do is survive for as long as possible - the game comes to an end when one of the Pokétrons get you. They will start off slowly, but one of each will get more aggressive every 30 seconds that passes. However you must keep an eye on the bar in the bottom left - if you leave your doors closed or your door lights on, it will fill. Don't let it fill completely or your power will instantly shut off, leaving you to the mercy of Raichu.

The time you spent in-game will be saved during the game over screen, although there is an option on the screen before you start the endless night to remove data for it by pressing Space on your keyboard, then either Y (yes) or N (no). If you manage to survive for long enough, for about thirty minutes or even an hour, you are phenomenal - don't forget to tell me how long you survived as I really would love to know. Aside from some little changes this is the only big thing I will be adding for a while - I'm planning on changing some of the camera views for a few rooms to make them more 3D-looking in a way, which I'll be sure to post progress of them on here down the line.

That is all I'd like to say, don't panic if I don't post anything for this game for too long. I still get carried away with things in my life but I will be sure to hopefully have this update out by Halloween, or probably before/after it. Alright, have a good day - paul

started working on a revamp of the supply closet camera

I plan to redo the ones for the party area and arcade after I am done with this. I'll also try to post progress of stuff that's coming/being changed in v1.5 as frequently as I can!

alright. time to get myself into gear and finish version 1.5; hopefully before the end of the year. and i mean it!

here's a new raichu image for the game's main menu to replace the old one I made waaayyy back at the start of development (in the 2nd image)

revamped party area is almost done - here I used GIMP to place the pokémon images on the walls using the program's unified transform tool. I'm going to draw some new images next to where natu and hoothoot are, just to fill in the empty spaces

Happy 50,000 Followers!!!
