It's been no secret that I haven't posted anything in a while. Not to mention that I didn't post a progress update back in May, sorry about that. However, I am back and I've got some things to say.
Since it's the start of a new month, how about some updates on progress?
Broom Game Progress:
I published a new sneak peak on my bluesky which you can check out here. This sneak peak shows off the maintenance panel in action... or at least one part of it. There's also some other minor changes I made which you might not notice if you haven't play Alpha v0.2.
I'm happy with the amount of progress I've made to v0.3 in the span of a few days. Hopefully soon I'll be able to release it but time will tell.
In terms of other progress for v0.3, here's a first look at the new character coming in v0.3:

Yeah it's not revealing much but at least it's something.
Progress on the script has started again. I am happy to announce that, what I believe is, the biggest part of the script has been finished. I am so happy that it's finally done and I hope you guys are excited to see it. With it done, the script could potentially be close to actually being finished, except for the revision but that shouldn't take too long.
In fact, here's a look at the script

Not really, but I will say that the script has reached almost 13k words which is insane.
That's all I wanted to say for Broom Game. Really happy with the progress I've made recently and looking forward to working on this more during the summer.
Sadly, this is where the happy part of this post ends.
In this post I am sad to announce that I am no longer involved in the development of Mac Tonight: Blood Moon or Jolly: Anniversary Edition for reasons I won't get into in this post. I am currently working on a post that goes over all my work for Blood Moon, as well as a video to go along with it. I'm not 100% sure when it'll drop.
In terms of my work for Jolly: Anniversary Edition, most of my contributions are present in the April Fools demo (one of them not initially meant for it, but I approved of it nonetheless). The only other thing being the 200 follower video I edited back in January which I have made public again on my YouTube channel.
It sucks that I won't be able to see these projects develop anymore, especially Blood Moon, but it's nothing I can do anymore.
To kind of bring back the mood for a little bit, I would like to show you guys the thumbnails for the SOTM videos

I like to think that these are my best ones yet, in regards to my other videos' thumbnails. Editing is still in progress but hopefully I'll be able to get these out soon.
Alright, with the progress update out of the way, let's actually answer the question above.
There was an incident back in April which resulted in me leaving the internet for a brief period of time. During that time I've come to realize just how mentally unwell I have been for years. I won't open too much about myself, but I have basically disregarded my mental health for a long time. I don't really go outside much and I don't have many people irl to talk to, but the ones I do have I only talk to on occasions.
I don't know if anyone noticed a weird post I made back in April, but that was kind of my mental state in a weird format. I won't say that isn't the first time I've had depression episodes or suicidal thoughts, but it's come to a point where it happens so frequently that it scares me. Sometimes I worry that if one specific event happens, then... well, you know.
However, I'm been doing better, to some degree. I finally got my license and graduated high school so that's nice. Got accepted into a college and have classes registered so I'm good for the fall. Hopefully I'll still have time on my hands to continue making games but we'll have to see.
I'm planning on going to conventions and events in the future like PAX or something similar so you guys might get to see me in the wild lmao.
Anyways, I think that's all for this post. Been playing a lot of sonic recently, mainly for the 35th anniversary which happened last week. Deltarune Chapter 5 was pretty cool. Excited for The Dark Ages DLC which drops next week.
If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask. But other than that, that's about it.
See you guys later
