Whoopee! Build 8!

I built this one pretty quickly, —actually it’s been my original intent to update this game in small increments. Sort of like automatically uploading a nightly build. Sometimes, or often times, I set goals for myself between builds, and I accomplish those goals either sooner than I expected or longer than I expect.

Before playing this game, keep in mind that it’s in a VERY early stage of development. I would prefer it if you withheld from rating it until there’s more substance.

Version 8 ——————————————————————————————————-

GRAPHICS

			-Gave the doorknobs smoother texturing.
-Modified the house's exterior appearance a bit.
-Cleaned up some messy vertices on the walls.
-Fixed the missing texture on top of cabinet doors. (Finally!)
-Added glass to all of the other windowframes.
-The mesh for your torso is now textured/
-Some decoration added here and there.

GAMEPLAY

-Removed the subtitles text that was there initially. It's only purpsoe was for me to prototype my subtitle sequencer. Directions like that will never be present in the final game.
-Veering off course now actually kills you. In the future, there will be a warning before you are killed. I just wanted to see the game over screen working in action.

UNDER THE HOOD

-Several objects have been combined into just one mesh per group, which should slightly improve performance on low-end machines.

Bandana Dee the Dream Friend

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?
