Why is Buttercup coming to VS. Mat?

A few minutes ago, i revealed Spiceful, one of the songs that's coming in VS. Mat V2.

Along with it, i also revealed one of the upcoming characters, which was Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls.

So now you may be wondering "Why is she here?". Well, this is quite a funny story.

When i started working on VS. Mat, i used a placeholder sprite, which came from a mod about PPG, and then accidentally forgot to remove it.

@Idiottubby and i found her a few weeks later, to which we found hilarious. So then, i thought "Hey, what if we made a song for her in V2?". So that's what we did.

I also kept the placeholder sprites in the files, sorta like a foreshadowing.

So yeah, that's why Buttercup is in VS. Mat now.

Expect more surprises in the future! -BoumTNT

(TL;DR : Buttercup was a placeholder sprite i unintentionally left in the game files, which we found hilarious, and decided to add her in V2)

Weezing (The Poison Gas Pokémon)

This was the result of two Koffings merging together when their gases mixed with each other. The resulting gas is then used as an ingredient for top of the line perfume.

...the gas STILL smells like garbage, however.

Rhyhorn (The Spikes Pokémon)

Its bones are a thousand times heavier then a human's, allowing its tackle attacks to send a semitrailer flying.

Unfortunately, it has a one-track mind. Once it starts running, it never stops until it falls asleep.

Seadra (The Dragon Pokémon)

To weaken its prey, this Pokémon creates whirlpools powerful enough to swallow a fishing boat. Its dorsal fins also exude poison.

Despite popular belief, there is no connection with Seadra and dragons. Only horsefishes.

Horsea (The Dragon Pokémon)

Capable of shooting down a flying bug using the ink in its mouth. Horsea eats bugs and the moss off of rocks.

If attacked, it'll spray ink at its foe and then swim away. Using its dorsal fins, it can even swim backwards.

Goldeen (The Goldfish Pokémon)

A Pokémon that can swim elegently in the waters, giving it the nickname "Water Queen".

Somebody once used a Master Ball on a Goldeen. When asked, they claimed that the ball itself had chosen Goldeen.

113

Chansey (The Egg Pokémon)

Gentle and kind-hearted, this Pokémon will walk up to an injured person and offer it a delicious and nutritious egg.

Due to their nature, they are commonly found assisting in Pokémon Centers. Wild ones are rare, however.

Tangela (The Vine Pokémon)

Nobody has ever figured out the true appearence of this Pokémon, as it's always covered in blue vines. While the vines snap off easily, they grow back by the next day.

The vines are also used as spices.
