the usage of Flowey in Undertale yellow it's because Clover doesn't have enough determination to save (according to the UTY canon), but if your protagonist CAN save by their own but you still add Flowey that's straight up bad writing because Flowey's existence becomes useless basically, unless you use him under a different concept...that will be ok! i'm not shitting on any UT prequels that uses Flowey, i'm just gonna give tips if you guys need :>

why some Undertale prequels add Flowey? I mean, there's nothing wrong with it aside from some minor inaccuracies but like...aren't you guys copying UTY like this?
